NELS 37 Proceedings Guidelines • February 2007

Dear Author:

As we have every year since 1981, GLSA Publications will be publishing the proceedings of NELS 37. Style sheets are now available on-line (links below).

Style Sheet and Template

Style sheet: [PDF] [Microsoft Word]

LaTeX submissions are no longer accepted. Please use the style sheets provided above. These style sheets are formatted in such a way that you can see a concrete example of the format requirements. Please note that all articles submitted for publication must conform to the specifications given in the style sheet and should not exceed the page number limits below (single-spaced). Also remember to embed all fonts before you submit your article.

Invited talk: 20 pages
Paper Presentation (Including Special Session): 14 pages
Alternate: 12 pages
Poster: 12 pages

If you are unsure how to achieve the correct format using your word processor (e.g. the use of headers and footers, setting margins, etc.), please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help. Please direct all questions regarding submissions to the NELS editors at nels@linguist.umass.edu, not to the GLSA.

Deadline
The deadline for submission is February 21, 2007. Articles received after this date will NOT be accepted for publication, so we strongly encourage early submissions. We will send you an e-mail confirmation once we have received your manuscript. If you do not plan to submit your article, please notify us at your earliest convenience. Otherwise, we will assume that all the authors (including alternate speakers) intend to submit their work for publication. Please keep the NELS editors informed of any changes in your contact information (especially your e-mail address) after submitting your manuscript. The GLSA will contact you regarding publication and author's discount when the volume is close to completion. Please note that the GLSA does not copyright NELS volumes, so articles published in the NELS proceedings can also be submitted and published elsewhere.

Sincerely,
Emily Elfner and Martin Walkow
